Here’s a cute video featuring a group of 11 week old border collie puppies.  In the video, there are 3 beautiful black and white border collies playing with 2 gorgeous blue merle border collies.  The puppies clearly love to play with each other and on the couch as mom sits nearby to keep an eye on her newborns.  Such a heartwarming video and a great one to share with someone you know who needs something to brighten their day! 🙂

Check out this great preview video from Ireland’s National Public Service Media, RTÉ One, which features a herd of super adorable four week old border collie puppies who are just beginning to learn the tricks of the sheep herding trade!

Do the Border Collie puppies have what it takes to make it as sheepdogs?  Well, you’ll have to watch Big Week on the Farm, Mon-Fri, RTÉ One at 7pm.  If any of our Irish BorderCollieFC members watch this show, please fill us in on what happens next! 😀

Want Your Border Collie Featured on our Site?

We love border collies and we love featuring them on our site!
So, if you want your border collie to be featured on our page, please read our submissions page and send us an email with your pictures to: submissions@bordercolliefanclub.com

Lucie Gauthier would like all of you to meet Abby!  Abby is a 4 year old border collie who is living with Addison’s disease, but is still full of life and spunk!

black and white border collieWhat is the name of your border collie?

Abby

How old is Abby?
Abby is a 4 year old Border Collie.

How did Abby become part of your family?
We adopted her in June 2017 after she was featured on a local rescue’s Facebook page.  She lives with Addison’s disease which is an adrenal gland issue that prevents her from producing the hormones that help with stress.  When she came home to us she was at least 10lbs underweight. Now she is perfect and thriving.

black and white border collieWhat is the one thing that you love the most about having a border collie as a pet?
What we love most is her spunk and spirit. She is like a little human who is intelligent and stubborn. (just like her human sister!

Do you have any interesting or funny stories to share about your border collie?
Abby knows the difference between cheap dollar store ones and the real official Wilson tennis ball. She also knows the difference between the words Go see mom, dad or Bee.

What else do you want people to know about your border collie?
Someone suggested that she could never live with another animal! She now lives amicably with 1 other dog, 2 cats and 8 chickens (which she guards from the neighbour’s dog).
