How old is Robbie?
Two years and three months

How did Robbie become part of your family?
He came to us from a puppy farm, which was unbeknownst to us when we bought him as an alleged eight week old!

Does Robbie have any special talents or tricks?
He loves to do tricks for his second mum – our daughter, Emily

James would like you all to meet Chloe and Haley.  Two inseparable border collies who seem to love doing together like going to Home Depot and bringing a smile to everyone’s face!

This is Chloe (black and white) and Haley (red and white)

How old  are Chloe & Haley?
They are both 11 years old

How did Chloe and Haley become part of your family? (adoption, breeder, etc…)
We got Chloe at 10 weeks from a farmer and Haley from a breeder at the same age

Does Chloe and Haley have any special talents or tricks?
Chloe likes to use the cat door as her personal window and Haley loves to be the fastest dog around

border collie dogsWhat is the one thing that you love the most about having a border collie as a pet? 

Our favorite part about having a Border Collie as pest is their intelligence. We get asked all the time how we get our dogs to act so good even without being leashed. I tell them Border Collies are like cheating, simple training and love

Do you have any interesting or funny stories to share about your border collie?
Chloe makes me laugh when we hike creeks rock hounding by having epic battles with waterfalls
Haley loves to jump from the arm of our couch into my arms

What else do you want people to know about your border collie?
They both love Home Depot, we always get a flatbed cart and tell them to load up and they ride the cart getting lots of attention from both Home Depot employees and other customers

How old is Maisie?
Maisie is 8 months old

How did Maisie become part of your family?
Maisie’s mum, Maggie was being fostered by a family friend. Not long after they discovered she was going to have a litter. I stayed in close contact with the foster family. Maggie had 8 pups – 6 boys and 2 girls. We were given first pick of the litter. We picked the beautiful half faced little girl .

Does Maisie have any special talents or tricks?
Maisie is your typical Border, very clever and eager to please. Tricks are her forte. My favorite trick is when she waves and sings at the same time.

I love lots of things about my girl. But, the one thing I love the most is….how extremely clever she is.

What else do you want people to know about your border collie?
Maisie does have a superpower and it’s called heart healing. Maisie was my last birthday gift from my husband, he recently passed away. Although our world has changed, and nothing seems right — Maisie is healing my broken heart. She has a big job ahead of her and she’s up for the task. She has one blue eye (her heaven eye) and one brown eye (her earth eye) Maisie is a very special pup. What a beautiful gift.

How old is Midge?
16 weeks old

How did Midge become part of your family?
Midge was the last of a litter of seven and popped out at 180g. He started off quite poorly and needed a lot of love and attention in the early days. It was then that we decided to have him. We’ve never owned a dog before. It’s been a learning curve but we all love him so much.

What is the one thinimage1g that you love the most about having a border collie as a pet?
Midge is so clever and quick to learn. He loves his weekly puppy training class (he excels at this!) He is completely trustworthy so is off the lead on his walks. Midge loves fetching and we have just introduced a whistle into his training. Midge spends our working day with his mum Rosie, brother Rhuridh and his Auntie Pippa. He has learned great dog skills from the older dogs. day is a fun filled day with Midge around.
