What are the name of your border collies?
Tillie (Black) and Gyp (Brown).

How old are Tillie and Gyp?
Tillie is 5 years old while Gyp is 2 years old!

How did Tillie and Gyp become part of your family?
Tillie was re-homed from Hastings at 8 months old due to previous owners serious illness and Gyp was adopted from a local breeder at 1 day old.

Tillie-resizedDo Tillie and Gyp have any special talents or tricks?
Tillie loves anything to do with a ball and will place a ball on people’s laps if being ignored. Together, they are part of a double act when it comes to ball play. Our older collie Tillie will chase the ball if you throw it for her. Whilst Gyp lies low on the ground watching her and then once she catches the ball she drops it for Gyp to bring it back to us!

I got her from a breeder.

With training she is already able to distinguish the difference between four of her many toys! Tula loves to retrieve balls and freebies!

He joined us when he was 12 weeks old from a farm in Peterhead

Milo loves singing the Eastenders theme song, shake hands, sit, lie down and roll over!

What is the one thing that you love the most about having a border collie as a pet?

Rubicon or Rubi for short

How old is Rubi?
She just turned one year old on March 30th

How did Rubi become part of your family?
Her mother was rescued off a reservation and had (8) puppies two days later. We adopted all of them and took care of them until they were old enough to go to new homes. My daughter took the mother. We kept Rubi and the rest were adopted by friends and family so we know they are all being well taken care of.

Does Rubi have any special talents or tricks?
Right now she is still in puppy mode. She is super smart and a quick learner. She talks a lot.

She is entertainment 24/7!

Do you have any interesting or funny stories to share about your border collie?
In the second photo, it shows how she has learned to sit on a slippery floor without having her legs slide out from under her!
