My Border Collie’s name is XL!

How old is XL?
He is 15 months old

How did XL become part of your family?
We got him from a breeder after waiting 2 years for the right pup! 🙂

 

border collieDo you have any interesting or funny stories to share about your border collie?
XL loves life, obedience training, working trials and agility runs. He has already won his first champion show in obedience! XL is the cleverest boy in the whole word and I love to watch as his mind figures out problems.

What else do you want people to know about your border collie?
He looks so big but it is just the coat!

She was born on the 4th November 2014

How did Shelly become part of your family?
I got her from a lady in Manchester after falling in love with her picture.

What is the one thing that you love the most about having a border collie as a pet?
She is so affectionate and comical. I wouldn’t part with her for the world.

How old is Blossom?
1 year & 3 months

How did Blossom become part of your family?
Adopted at 12 weeks old when we lost our 11 1/2 year old border collie, Sheltie.

Does Blossom have any special talents or tricks?
She sits around my neck and becomes my “Blossom Scarf.” She also knows the names of 5 of her toys and will go find them when I ask her where they are!

So loyal and smart. She always wants to be by my side.

Do you have any interesting or funny stories to share about your border collie?
She loves collecting wood when we go camping and have a camp fire, she will then snuggle on my moon chair by the fire and sleep.

Sylwia would like you all to meet Sally who is her second border collie that’s living the good life in Poland!

Sally

How old is Sally?
She is 9 months old.

How Sally become part of your family? (adoption, breeder, etc…)
We have been together since April 25th. I adopted Sally from an animal shelter and now we are learning how  to live with each other. I try to give Sally a good place to live where she will be a happy, friendly and loving dog.

Sally is very jumpy and we have started learning to play Frisbee and also running a lot with new dog friends. In August, we’ll be going to a training camp for dogs.

What is the one thing that you love the most about having a border collie as a pet? 
Sally is my second border collie friend.  Earlier I had Misia, my first border collie who is also black-and-white. Misia was also an adopted dog who lived in my family for 15 years. Border collies are so friendly and loyal to people who take care of these dogs. I love border collie for  their positive attitude to my family and other people!

What else do you want people to know about your border collie?
I think that people need to know that border collies are very intelligent and active dogs. They need the owner who will be also be active in his/her life and it’s very important that these people be firm and consistent in their action. When you have a border collie you have a new family member!
