Have you heard of Crufts? It’s basically one of the oldest and probably the biggest dog show in the world.  Crufts is held annually in the UK and they just celebrated their 125th anniversary this year! It’s certainly a ‘bucket list’ event for dog lovers!  To get a sense of how amazing this event is, check out this video featuring 2016’s Pastoral Group Winner, a border collie named Simaro Cold As Ice.

black and white border collieWe wanted to share this great news story of how a cute, two-year old border collie named Ellie is helping to solve a messy and expensive problem at the Robert S. Kerr Lock and Dam in Tulsa, Oklahoma.   Apparently, you don’t need to spend thousands of dollars on bird deterrants like bird spikes.  All you gotta do is get yourself an energetic, but gentle border collie!

Read & watch Ellie’s full story here (via KFSM 5 News).
