How did Maisie become part of your family?
Maisie’s mum, Maggie was being fostered by a family friend. Not long after they discovered she was going to have a litter. I stayed in close contact with the foster family. Maggie had 8 pups – 6 boys and 2 girls. We were given first pick of the litter. We picked the beautiful half faced little girl .
Does Maisie have any special talents or tricks?
Maisie is your typical Border, very clever and eager to please. Tricks are her forte. My favorite trick is when she waves and sings at the same time.
What is the one thing that you love the most about having a border collie as a pet?
I love lots of things about my girl. But, the one thing I love the most is….how extremely clever she is.
What else do you want people to know about your border collie?
Maisie does have a superpower and it’s called heart healing. Maisie was my last birthday gift from my husband, he recently passed away. Although our world has changed, and nothing seems right — Maisie is healing my broken heart. She has a big job ahead of her and she’s up for the task. She has one blue eye (her heaven eye) and one brown eye (her earth eye) Maisie is a very special pup. What a beautiful gift.
